Born in 1933 in Tokyo. Entered Chuo University and its Schoolmate Association Karate Club in 1952.

Became the Vice-instructor of Tokyu Karate Dojo in 1958. Became a director of Shoto-kai in 1982.

Served as an instructor of Seijyo University karate association from 1983 to 1998.

Became the manager of Chuo University Schoolmate Association Karate Club.

Became a vice-chief instructor of Shoto-kan in 1984. Became the chief instructor of Shoto-kan in 1995.

Passed away March 9th, 2005.
